Hey there, getting this thing up and rolling.
I have a theory that common sense is TOTALLY lacking in this day and age. It's something that is taken for granted. I hope to instill some in my kids.
One of my pet peeves is something my kids say. . . I ask them to do this or do that, and what's the first thing they say? "I know, Dad!" So, an intelligent being would presume this to mean that they know what they have been asked to do, right?
Umm, yeah right. Then later, when said project has not been completed (often something as similar as a daily routine item such as making their bed) I'll ask, "why isn't this done?" Right?
Guess what the standard answer is. . . "I don't know. . ."
And they wonder why I don't have any hair?
